GUMBOPALOOZA is an event where you can enjoy many versions of great food and entertainment. We are a family festival that is fishing themed with all kinds of activities and FUN! Entry cost of $10 per person allows you all the gumbo you can eat and a vote for best Gumbo.

  • 9:00am Gumbo Teams and Vendors arrive to set up
  • 11:00am GumboPalooza officially starts with opening to public
    • Teams begin gumbo cooking
    • Beverage tents open
    • Kids game open to begin play to win a fishing pole or plush animal
    • Vendors are open for sales of their wares
    • Gatorland brings out first of their animals on display for photos
    • Animal Planet brings out first of their animals for photos
    • First of our music entertainment takes the stage
    • Silent auction opens for bids on fishing trips, Hotel stays, art and much much more.(MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN)
    • The sale of our $1 raffle tickets begin. Fishing pole combinations and other great out door items with average value of $100 (MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN)
    • The sale of our $10 dollar raffle tickets for Kayaks begin(MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN)
  • 1:00pm the first of our $1 raffle winners are announced on stage. The dollar raffles will be announced every half hour at the main stage
    • The second entertainment act takes the stage
  • 1:00pm Gumbo tasting is announced to begin
  • 3:00pm headlining act takes the stage
  • 4:30pm Gumbo winners are announced on main stage
    • Kayak raffle winners are announced
    • Silent auction item winners are announced
  • 5:00pm last of dollar raffles are announced
  • 5:30pm event ends break down begins
